Kinesiology 101 and lab

You've learned the anatomy, you've learned the exercises - Now, take the next step in your knowledge of Pilates and your body. Learn to apply your knowledge of anatomy to Pilates exercises.This hands on workshop starts with a review of the skeletal system and important bony landmarks.

You'll also learn the various movement and the normal range of motion of the major joints of the body. in addition, you'll learn how to determine which muscles are working during specific pilates exercises and how.

This workshop is perfect for those preparing to take their certification exam and for those who want a deeper knowledge of how the body works. We suggest that you take functional Anatomy 101, or have a working knowledge of anatomy, prior to taking this workshop.

An outline of the material to be presented will be given, but please be prepared to take notes.
